INIT 29-B infects all types of files, including extensions, applications, preference files, and document files. Once a computer is infected with this virus, applications stored on it can become infected even if they are not launched or executed. When a locked floppy disk is inserted in an infected computer, an alert may be displayed indicating that the disk needs minor repairs. Additional symptoms may include printing problems, unexpected system crashes, and applications that do not run correctly.
